Dino Pisaniello is Professor of Occupational and Environmental Health in the School of Public Health, University of Adelaide, Australia. His interests include exposure and risk assessment and control, intervention research and education. He has published widely on topics such as hazard surveillance, climate change impacts and adaptation, dermal exposure assessment and toxicology, indoor air quality, work and vision and young worker education. He has experience with various industries including defence, mining, manufacturing, agriculture and healthcare.
Dino is the Director of the Occupational and Environmental Hygiene Laboratory and is the Chief Technical Advice Coordinator (Hazardous Materials Incidents) for Fire and Emergency Services.
He is a Past President of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists, the Australian and New Zealand Association of OHS Educators and was the Inaugural Chairman of the Australian Congress of Safety and Health Association Presidents. Dino holds fellowships of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute, the Australian Institute of Health and Safety and the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists. He is a ABIH-certified industrial hygienist and the immediate past National Secretary for Australia of the International Commission on Occupational Health.
